How much is all of this going to cost to build my dream home in Summit County, Colorado

• Cost of Land is $150,000-$1,000,000. 
• Architectural cost-$10,000-$50,000
• Structural Engineer $2000-10,000.
• Permits (Building, Sewer Taps, Water Taps, Well permits, Septic permits, etc)
• Costs Associated could range from $20,000-$40,000 depending on the type of home and location that you are building.
• To actually begin building after all of these fees plan on about $200-$300 a square foot. This should include interior, exterior finishes and your fee for your builder.
• Then plan on an additional 10-20% over your figures for unknown costs and going over budget.
• The rule of thumb on building a home is build a home that is  appraised at 3-4x the cost of the land.
